Madeline Dornfeld

Madeline Dornfeld is a Research Associate at the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She is currently pursuing a B.A. in International Relations at Claremont McKenna College, with a focus on security studies and Russia and Eastern Europe. Madeline’s research areas of interest include US-Russia relations, identity and conflict, and the future of trilateral deterrence and arms control.

At Claremont McKenna, Madeline works as a Program Assistant at the Keck Center for Strategic Relations, where her past research explored the role of memory politics in conflict and Ukraine’s EU accession process. Her most recent policy memo was published in PONARS Eurasia. She is also an ARMY ROTC Cadet.
